We defend the reputation and represent the interests of pharmacy students as well as helping them develop into health professionals and trade unionists. The views of student members and the issues of concern to them are of importance both because they are the profession of tomorrow and because they already matter today. PDA member networks began with our student members and we encourage members at each pharmacy school to have a student representative who can be part of the national network. However, we recognise that it is often other characteristics that can bring groups of pharmacists together. Our regional committees bring members from a particular geographical area together and their sector groups connect members from parts of the profession: hospital, locum, community and primary care. ![]()
